clouds zip by

in twenty five minutes

coast to prairie.

I recall fondly the tempo change of indoor rainy days filling time with baking, reading, board games and the rest.

a lone leaf
floats along the rivulet —

Looking out the wet window; summer annuals ready to be potted, and me ready to get started... the tea cup warms my hands.

damp and cool
bird cherry blossoms sink —
into the bath
